We are delighted to present Ériu Fibre to our valued community of crafters. Carrying the same ethos and story as our Farm to Yarn, our wool is now also available as Farm to Fibre.
Sourced with the same meticulous care as our yarn, each fleece is collected by hand and produced through a transparent process that incentivises through fair pay- our inspiring family of farmers across Ireland—helping to reclaim and honour one of our land’s most valuable natural resources: wool.
This fibre introduces a new 100% Romney blend, sourced from our exceptional co-operative, the Emerald Romney Group. Wonderfully soft yet full of character, it is offered undyed and in its most natural, perfect state, allowing the true beauty of Romney wool to shine.
Sheepsback - Straight off the sheeps’ back, this is the pure, natural and undyed form of our wool. We love the buttery undertones in the raw fibre which give it a distinct warmth and rich character, unlike other ecrus.
