Our woven cape emulates our ancient royal ancestors. The Celtic Kings and Queens who would have worn similar luxurious wool, in a style that flowed off their shoulders.

Featuring our signature diamond weave, soft brushed finish and fringing.

The perfect companion for any time of year, our Tara cape is a versatile, elegant and unique addition to your wardrobe.

Made from our unique Ériu blend of 100% Luxury Irish wool. We use select sheep breeds, specifically Romney and Blue Face Leicester from our own farm and handpicked from farms around Ireland. This blend creates softness, drape and beautiful warmth.

Woven with meticulous attention to detail by iconic 6th generation weavers, Molloy & Sons in Ardara, Co Donegal.

We named our first woven collection Tara, after Ireland’s sacred site on the Hill of Tara. Known as a “Royal Site,” this is an ancient piece of land where the High Kings of Ireland were coronated, and chosen, by their beloved Sovereignty Queens, who were trusted by the community, to choose the rightful King.
For their grand ceremonies they would have worn beautiful woven cloaks made of wool, harvested from the sheep on the land, woven by their local artisans, in the exact same way as our Farm to Yarn practice.

- Boxes: Made using recycled cardboard, printed with plant-based inks

- Courier Bags: Made from 100% biodegradable plastic

- Woven Labels: Made from R-PET recycled material from certified suppliers

- Postcards, Care Cards & Stickers: FSC certified and ECF, printed with plant-based inks

- Tissue Paper: FSC certified and is fully recyclable and compostable once shredded and kept in a composting environment

The natural antibacterial properties of pure wool means your Ériu blanket will require less frequent washing. Regular airing will restore freshness, and isolated stains can be spot cleaned with water and a mild or organic soap, dabbing with a lint free cloth.

Hand wash in cold or lukewarm water using a mild eco, wool-friendly detergent. Squeeze and move suds through the material, without wringing or stretching the blanket. Rinse thoroughly in clean water.

Carefully remove from the water and press gently in between hands to squeeze out water. Do not wring the blanket! Finally, roll in a towel to remove further liquid.

Line dry for best results.

Do not tumble dry!
