It is knit poncho style in a stockinette stitch with long flowing sides, slightly longer at the back and a boat neck. It can be worn in many ways and really as you like to style it personally. The Banbha (Ban-va)

Banbha was a highly skilled Druidess who wielded her magic in defence of the land and its people and sought to stop the incoming army.

We see her standing on top of a high hill with a spear directing her magic in this flowy poncho-style piece!

Our signature Ériu yarn is made of 100% Irish wool from our own farm and our Farm to Yarn Network. It is a blend of soft and lustrous lambswool Romney and Blue-Face Leicester. The nature of this blend creates a beautiful drape and lustre, making it super soft and elegantly flowy and flattering.

Handmade by our knitters, Anne and Ann, who take exceptional care with each garment passing through their own hands. Their wealth of experience designing with luxury yarns means they know exactly how to create and knit beautiful patterns that serve the uniqueness that is our Ériu blend.

- Tissue Paper: FSC certified and is fully recyclable and compostable once shredded and kept in a composting environment

The natural antibacterial properties of pure wool mean your Ériu knitwear will require less frequent washing. Regular airing will restore freshness, and isolated stains can be spot cleaned with water and mild or organic soap, dabbing with a lint-free cloth.

Hand wash in cold or lukewarm water using a mild eco, wool-friendly detergent. Squeeze and move suds through the material without wringing or stretching the blanket. Rinse thoroughly in clean water.

Carefully remove from the water and press gently in between hands to squeeze out water. Do not wring the blanket! Finally, roll in a towel to remove further liquid.

Line dry for best results.

Do not tumble dry!
