Brigid – This vibrant fiery colour is so iconic in Ireland, the beautiful colour of red hair, always associated with power. We named this in honour of our Celtic red-haired Goddess and Saint – Brigid

Our signature blend of 100% pure Irish wool is sourced directly from our own farm and the select fair-trade network of farmers we have set up across Ireland.

Our unique blend has a specific ratio of Romney lambswool and Blue Face Leicester, making it incredibly soft yet durable. It carries a gorgeous luster and drapes beautifully.

Gathered by hand from our farmers, spun with delicate care and expertise in Donegal Yarns, we proudly present this luxurious, one-of-its-kind Irish wool.

Our new palette is inspired by the Kingfisher, a magical, mystical, rare Irish bird who lives by rivers and is comfortable in all the elements, flying in the air, diving in water, burrowing into the earth to nest and displaying fire and sapphire colours.

We love that the male and the female display equally beautiful colouring and they form monogamous breeding pairs.

There is a story of the Kingfisher and how it received it’s colours from Nature, by flying into the sunset which painted the fiery orange of the sun on it’s breast and the blues from the sky on it’s back. We feel this Kingfisher flew into the Sunset pastels of our last Ériu palette with a vibrant message.
