Our feature on Nationwide- The Wool Sector in Ireland

Last week, something truly special happened, we were featured on RTÉ Nationwide, a moment that felt like a celebration not just of our work, but of the Irish wool community we’re so proud to be part of.

Nationwide presenter Bláthnaid Ní Chofaigh visited us on our Wicklow farm to chat about our mission to revive Ireland’s wool industry — from caring for our sheep to handcrafting every piece in 100% Irish wool. Through our growing Farm to Yarn network, we proudly support local farmers, gather wool from their flocks, and keep traditional Irish woolcraft thriving in a way that’s fully traceable from field to finished piece.

Seeing Irish wool highlighted on national television felt like a milestone for an industry that was once on the brink of disappearing. It showed viewers the real value of Irish wool — sustainable, breathable, natural, and deeply tied to our landscape and traditions.

The response since airing has been incredibly heart-warming, reminding us how many people care about craft, traceability, and supporting local makers. If you missed it, you can watch here: https://www.rte.ie/player/series/nationwide/SI0000001172?epguid=IH10008772-25-0128

A small thank you for helping us continue supporting Irish farmers, strengthening rural communities, and keeping Ireland’s wool story alive, one stitch at a time.
