Lugh is the counterpart of Ériu, often described as her beloved partner. Lugh was a Celtic Solar King, a God of Light and Sun, who fathered many children, including our famous Celtic warrior Cú Chulainn.

A dedicated protector of land and community, Lugh represents the warrior masculine spirit of our mission at Ériu in protecting our national heritage, championing our natural resources and bringing these skills back to our communities.

A unisex piece, this sweater is a contemporary take on tradition, featuring subtle cable work and a comfortable hoodie. Lightweight and fitted to flatter, this beautiful garment is lovingly handmade by Ann & Anne on their domestic knitting machines from home.

Made from our signature Ériu blend of 100% Irish wool yarn, which is are reviving an ancient legacy though our fair-trade Farm to Yarn wool network across Ireland.

- Envelopes: Made from 100% plantable compostable paper using plant-based inks

- Boxes: Made using recycled cardboard, printed with plant-based inks

- Courier Bags: Made from 100% biodegradable plastic

- Woven Labels: Made from R-PET recycled material from certified suppliers

- Postcards, Care Cards & Stickers: FSC certified and ECF, printed with plant-based inks

- Tissue Paper: FSC certified and is fully recyclable and compostable once shredded and kept in a composting environment

The natural antibacterial properties of pure wool mean your Ériu knitwear will require less frequent washing. Regular airing will restore freshness, and isolated stains can be spot cleaned with water and mild or organic soap, dabbing with a lint-free cloth.

Hand wash in cold or lukewarm water using a mild eco, wool-friendly detergent. Squeeze and move suds through the material without wringing or stretching the blanket. Rinse thoroughly in clean water.

Carefully remove from the water and press gently in between hands to squeeze out water. Do not wring the blanket! Finally, roll in a towel to remove further liquid.

Line dry for best results.

Do not tumble dry!
